Summary of the PhD Student Network Meeting, 15-17 May 2009, Zevenaar, The Netherlands
One initiative was raised among the PhD students in AquaTerra to organize a PhD-weekend for networking and future collaboration. The idea was presented to the Steering Committee in March 2009 and was highly welcome by all participants including Cathy Eccles from the European Commission.
The purpose of the PhD Students Network Meeting was to formally establish and maintain the network linking the AquaTerra PhD Students. The main outcomes of research conducted within the frames of the AquaTerra Project were discussed and summarized. Structure and integration level of the AquaTerra Project were discussed and changes for the future were proposed. Tools for keeping the Network up-to-date, useful and working were defined and are to be implemented.
